How It All Began

Pure Essence was born from a simple belief: what we put on our skin should be as pure and natural as what we put in our bodies.

It started in a small kitchen in 2018, when founder Sarah Mitchell began making soap for her family after her daughter developed sensitive skin reactions to commercial products. What began as a solution for one family quickly grew into a passion for creating the finest handmade soaps using only natural, ethically sourced ingredients.

Today, Pure Essence has grown from that small kitchen to a dedicated workshop, but our commitment remains the same: every bar of soap is still handcrafted in small batches, using traditional cold-process methods that preserve the natural benefits of our ingredients.

Pure Essence Workshop

Our Craft & Process

A slow, intentional approach to natural skincare

01

Small Batches

We handcraft our soaps in small batches to ensure meticulous attention to detail and consistent quality in every bar.

02

From Nature

Every oil, butter, and botanical is carefully selected for its therapeutic properties and origins.

03

Slow Cure

Our soaps cure for a minimum of 6 weeks, allowing them to harden naturally and develop a superior.

04

Quality Check

Each bar is hand-cut, hand-stamped, and inspected to meet our rigorous standards before it reaches your door.

Meet the Makers

The passion behind every bar

Pure Essence is a small team of artisans and nature-lovers dedicated to the craft of traditional soap making. We believe in the power of plants and the beauty of handmade products. Our workshop is a place of creativity, sustainability, and high standards, where we combine modern skincare science with age-old techniques to bring you the highest quality natural soaps.
